Sep 12, 2. First thing I would check would be your ground connections, Make sure they are clean. Also check your connections at the ECU and clean with electronic spray cleaner if needed. I would also check the connectors at the firewall if there are any there. We only have a small three truck fleet, but I check all of our grounds and connections every year, sometimes more if I get a chance. Dirty grounds can cause all kinds of intermittent codes and other gremlins.

Too many people just run their trucks until they start popping codes or the check engine lights come on. Electrical systems on these trucks are just like engines or anything else. A little PM will save a ton of headaches later.
